COMMITTEE & FUNDRAISING
Committee
Moulton preschool, near Newmarket, Suffolk, has charity status and is run by a committee made up of parents and members of the local community. The committee is voted on at the Annual General Meeting held in September of each year.
With some of the committee members being parents of children currently in attendance of Moulton Preschool it is a great way for them to be actively involved in their child’s preschool experience. It is also a great way for members of the community to have their say about the preschool and be involved in something so important to the children of the village and surrounding areas.

Fundraising
As Moulton preschool has charity status, one of the key roles of our committee is to organise and hold fundraising activities to support the preschool but at the same time bring the community together.
Money raised is put towards classroom materials, outside equipment, experience days and much more.
Events are held throughout the year and are always well received not just by members of the preschool and their families but the wider community. We have held quiz nights, discos, raffles and much more. Our events are also a great way to meet other parents and get to know the staff.
